I spent the last week on the road. Really on the road. I drove all the way out to the panhandle of Oklahoma. I started out by having lunch with some friends in Guntersville, AL and spent the night in Huntsville, AL. I precipitated in a Reader’s Luncheon on Saturday and spent the night with friends in Memphis, TN. From there I traveled to a writing friend’s house in Clarksville, AR and spent the night. From there I traveled to Lavern, OK and visited with some cousins and returned to Clarksville. I was more than happy to spend a couple of nights in one place before I headed home again.

This run was a little over 3 miles long. As the runners passed check points a different color was thrown on them. Zach, Andy and I went to Atlanta to Piedmont Park to watch her do the run. There were thousands and thousands of people there. The response was so big that they even had another Color Run at the Atlanta Speedway the next weekend.

He was flexing his chest, and we were looking at his scars when he asked, “Do you want to see my chest hair?” Hair is correct, not hairs. My mother and I both went, “Where?” He pointed to a spot in the middle of his chest. We stepped closer. Still I couldn’t see it. “Right here.” Nick pointed to the center of his chest. After stepping closer and having him point it out I could finally see it. It was less than a half inch long. We ask that he draw a circle around it so we could see if it grows!
