Back to the Real World

Monday, November 30th, 2009

After a week at the beach and a week off for Thanksgiving, I’m back to the real world. I’m subbing for the next two weeks, maybe three, for a teacher who is having surgery. I didn’t do what I should have done and now I have to write close to 20,000 words before Saturday. I’d set a goal to be finished with a book by tomorrow but I seem to enjoy the holidays too much.

I have a birthday party to put together for a daughter and critique on Tuesday so I’m going to have to get my act together.

Being Thankful

I can’t count the number of things I’m thankful for. If you are reading this know you are one of them. I wish for you  and yours the best of holidays. Happy Thanksgiving.

Getting Back to Normal

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

After spending the week on the beach writing everyday, I back to trying to get stuff at the house back in order. I didn’t get any writing done  but did do an interview with blogtalkradio yesterday. Check it out at apwiredlive.com. After some technical issues all went well. I plan to put some papers under me today.

Hermit Week

Monday, November 23rd, 2009

I’m been in Charleston, South Carolina at Hermit Week. That is a week when writers get together in a huge house and write all week. I did 10,000  words. I’m please with my efforts. It is helping me work toward that goal of finishing a book this month and for the year. Check out Carol Burnside’s blog for beautiful pictures of where I went.
