Editing Manuscript

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

I have a manuscript due out as soon as possible and I only started editing it yesterday. I will have to work hard to get it together by early Janurary. But that is still the plan. I finished getting Christmas put away and doing some chores around the house. I’m begining to look forward to a new year.

After Christmas

Monday, December 28th, 2009

The gifts have found their places, the trees are down and the wreaths put away - until next year. We had a good Christmas at my house. We were very thankful to have had Nick with us. I get more emotional now than I did in March about what could have been. We are now looking forward to a good new year. Over the next few days I’m going to work on material that has to go out.

Good Day

Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009

Nick had his annual cath and biopsy yesterday. We got to see all the doctors and nurses who had taken care of him in March. All thought Nick looked wonderful. Which he does. We took Christmas presents. This will be Nick’s last Christmas at Egleston because next year he will be at Emory. Sad, but he has grown up which is all I ever hoped for. The day ended with good news that Nick shows no signs of rejection. His blood pressure is great and he had gained over twenty pounds.

Having it Together

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

I think I finally have it together. The house is clean and ready to go. I’m looking forward to putting my feet up and watching TV at Mary Beth’s. I hope to get back to my writing and to do a few little things that I have left hanging done.
