I managed to get some writing done this weekend. I also finished altering the wedding dress and got it to the bride, who was pleased. I work on tax stuff. I must finish that and get it turned in soon. I also cheered the Saints into a Super Bowl win. Payton is a nice guy but the Saints are like the Falcons they needed a win.

Nick has run a fever the last couple of days. Last night’s was high-103. So he is at the doctor with Drew this morning. I’m waiting to hear what is going on. 

I like a good rainy night. I love to sleep during one. Last night was a great night for that. It rained none stop. I didn’t work yesterday, instead I worked on getting a wedding dress aultered for a friend, my taxes, and doing business to straighten out insurance card issues. It seems the day goes by fast when you spend most of it on the phone.  I did get some writing work done.

I’m working again today. I’m only getting jobs on a day by day bases, which hasn’t happen in a number of years. I usually know days in advance when I will be working. I am getting a lot of writing work done. Nick had a rapamune level drawn (blood work) last week. It came back sky high. The coordinator told him to stop taking it until Monday. He will have to go back and have blood work next week.

I started my Monday out like a Monday. Everything I did needed to be redone. I subbed and did a poor job of it. Not able to find the work the kids were to do, I later found it in the middle of the day. It was my falt not the teacher’s I could find it. I had hoped to be the teacher again today so I would have time to cover my tracks from yesterday. I had a better day today. No such luck. I had to go apoligize for my mistakes first thing this morning. Thankfully, I had a resource teacher with me today in a different class the first three periods which got me on track. I did get a lot of writing work done, which  redeemed the days for me. 

We had a Sunday School party at the house Friday night. We had a great crowd-around 24. Saturday I got a lot of work done. My work had been critiqued so I worked on making some corrections. I still have to rewrite a scene or two, but I’ll get it done. Sunday afternoon I helped a friend with her wedding dress. I have some work to do on it. All in all it just felt good not to have to spend another weekend in bed.
